Today Joe & I went to our friend Mike's house. He lives with his parents, but the place is fucking huge, and beautiful, and he had the whole basement to himself. Mike & his parents always throw a winter solstice and summer solstice party, and this was it. We didn't stay long, but instead of bringing food, my amazing bartender boyfriend and I made something like Jungle Juice. It had 4 whole watermelons, 5 cucumbers, and a pack of basil in it, along with 2 bottles of Stoli Apple, 1 bottle of Stoli, a bottle of sour mix, half a bottle of Malibu, half a bottle of champagne, sour apple pucker, watermelon pucker, and a bottle of Midori Melon. The food was pureed and mixed in a giant water container with the liquor. It made 5 fricken gallons! Everyone loved it, and you could taste the alcohol at all. Let's just say I'm a little drunk. Haha.
